As an Integrated Care System (ICS), we are committed to making sure that everyone living in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent has equal opportunities to fulfil their potential and to live their best life possible. This includes people with a learning disability, autistic people, and people with Down’s syndrome. We want to encourage people to recognise their strengths, take charge of their own health and wellbeing, and live as independently as possible.

While many people with learning disabilities, autism and Down’s syndrome enjoy positive lives, others still face challenges. We are working alongside local partners and people with lived experience to make meaningful, lasting change that support people’s independence and enhance their quality of life.

The Learning Disability, Autism and Down’s Syndrome Portfolio brings together a wide range of projects and workstreams that supports people and enables health and care professionals to work collaboratively, make reasonable adjustments, and remove barriers.
