LeDeR stands for: Learning from the lives and deaths of people with a learning disability and autistic people.

It is a service improvement programme, which reviews the lives of deaths of people with a learning disability, and autistic people, to:

  • Improve care for people with a learning disability and/or autism
  • Reduce health inequalities for people with a learning disability and autistic people
  • Prevent people with a learning disability and/or autism from early deaths
