Medequip Assistive Technology is the provider of the community equipment service on behalf of Staffordshire County Council, Stoke-on-Trent City Council and the NHS in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. 

Following an assessment, equipment will be provided on loan to support independent living. 

To access equipment, you will need to have an occupational therapy assessment. You can ask your GP for a referral or to enquire or request an assessment, you can contact the Council’s social care team.

Returning equipment 

If you have already benefited from equipment loaned to you that you no longer need, Medequip can arrange a free collection, to recycle and help others in need. Call 01785 273950 or email: stafford@medequip-uk.com
