New 2 Care

New 2 Care

Our local health and social care organisations need more staff to join us to help look after patients in caring roles across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

We promote opportunities within health and care roles, particularly for those who are new to care, who may not have care experience, but do have the right core values, behaviours and passion to come into this line of work.

Training is available and you don’t need experience. We’re looking for caring, thoughtful and compassionate people who want to make a difference. We really need to hear from you about your interests and skills and we will do our best to help you on your way into work.

We can direct you to training, as well as temporary and permanent roles. These may include healthcare support workers, social care workers, but also non-clinical roles such as administration, portering, domestic or estates and facilities roles.

Please fill out our expressions of interest form.

Feedback from people who have recently started a role in Health and Care

“I was unhappy in my previous employment, when an ad came up on my Facebook page for being an NHS reserve, so I thought: “I’ll give it a go.” I started working for the People Hub in April and it’s been brilliant.

I have been able to choose my own hours, initially just working on a Saturday to gain experience and by May I handed my notice in at my previous workplace, beginning to work on a more permanent basis for the People Hub.

They have provided me with training and I am on the way to getting my care certificate. The staff are very helpful and friendly and have supported me every step of the way”.

“I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for offering me the Bank Administrative Assistant position. I am thrilled and honoured to accept this wonderful opportunity …… I want to extend my gratitude not only for considering me for this role but also for the warm and welcoming manner in which the entire hiring process was conducted. From our initial conversations to the final offer call, I was truly impressed by the professionalism displayed. I am genuinely excited about the chance to contribute to the mission and vision. I’m looking forward to joining the team”

“I’m doing this to change my life and help other people. An apprenticeship is a good choice – you can get paid and learn at the same time!”
