Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board (ICB) is participating in a free dementia services showcase event in Stoke-on-Trent on Wednesday 21 May 2025 as part of Dementia Action Week (19 – 25 May 2025).

Local dementia support services will be available at Affinity Staffordshire Shopping Centre (previously known as Freeport), Talke Retail Park, from 10am to 3pm on 21 May 2025, to showcase some of the advice and support available to people living with dementia, their families and carers. This event is one of the local initiatives, coordinated on behalf of the Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire Dementia Steering Group, to support Dementia Action Week 2025.

Nicola Bromage, Associate Director for Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism and Children and Young People, Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board (ICB) said:

“Dementia Action Week 2025 is raising awareness of the importance of an early diagnosis for people affected by dementia, and Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board is pleased to support the services showcase at Affinity Staffordshire on Wednesday 21 May during the campaign week. Understanding dementia, and its impact on the individual, their family, and carers, is fundamentally important to receiving the appropriate support. We encourage anyone to pop down to the event to discuss dementia and find out what fantastic local support is available in the area.”
