Travelling to towns across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, the Cancer Awareness Bus Tour is here to help you learn more about cancer, spot symptoms early, and understand the NHS screening programmes available to you.

You can:

  • Speak to friendly healthcare professionals
  • Learn about different types of cancer and common symptoms
  • Find out if you’re eligible for NHS cancer screening
  • Get a free health check (at most locations), or simply come for a chat

No appointment needed – just drop in.

Worried about cancer? You’re not alone

Many people notice changes in their body but aren’t sure whether to get them checked. For most people, symptoms won’t be cancer – but if it is, spotting it early makes treatment more successful.

The Cancer Awareness Bus is a safe, informal space where you can ask questions, learn what to look out for, and get trusted NHS advice without pressure.

You don’t need symptoms to visit, learning what’s normal for you can help protect your health.

What happens when you visit the Cancer Awareness Bus?

You will get:

  • Information on common cancers and early warning signs
  • Advice on who is most at risk
  • Details about NHS screening programmes
  • Free health checks (where available)
  • Friendly, confidential conversations with trained staff

Opening times: The Cancer Awareness Bus will be at each location from 9am to 4pm.
