Residents are being asked to share their experiences and views on adult mental health services across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent to inform the delivery of the new Adult Mental Health Inpatient Services strategy for 2024 – 2027 from Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board (ICB).

The strategy has recently been published and is developed with system partner organisations Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT) and North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust (NSCHT). The delivery of responsive mental health services that will focus on the wellbeing of patients and deliver joined-up care that reduces the need for inpatient admissions are key priorities within the strategy.

Ben Richards, Senior Responsible Officer for Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care System, said:

“The questions in the survey have been developed for our communities to provide feedback and views about their adult mental health service experiences across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

“We would like to hear from as many people as possible about their experiences, ensuring we deliver a strategy which provides the best mental health care possible based on their needs.”

The survey is available to access at the Get Involved section of the ICB’s website and is open until Friday 14 March 2025.
