What is the Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS)?

The purpose of the Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) is to bring together commissioners, providers and service users to develop and implement a locally owned plan that oversees and supports the improvement of maternity and neonatal services.

The LMNS is overseen by a board that includes midwives, neonatal staff, consultants, our Maternity and Neonatal voices partnership (MNVP) chair, NHS England, Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent ICB, and Public Health.

The Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent LMNS team is:

  • Ali Budd – LMNS Lead Midwife
  • Jenny Brown – LMNS Lead Midwife
  • Emma Hubball – Quality & Safety Midwife
  • Rachel Clorley – Quality & Safety Midwife
  • Helen Clarke – Project Support Co-ordinator
